Guys what are some good turn based combat WRPGS?
In style of Paper Mario, Earthbound, Dragon Quest, etc, but not actually JRPG.
What are some great, perhaps different and experimental, turn based combat systems?
I'm very interested in such combat, but I find most JRPGs digusting because of their art and/or story.

Wizardry is obviously the prime series for the classic row based combat. In the earlier games there isn't much story or art to worry about either.
Most Infinity Engine games. Planescape is the exception, but you can play the whole thing without fighting anyway.

Recently I've had some success selling some old snes games on ebay.
I've kept all of my old consoles (pic related) but I seemed to have doubles of that I had no use for, so I just thought I'd give it a try.
I was shocked how fast they sold and with the amount of sales piling up I'm thinking I could make a viable side business out of this..
So I ask of you, where would be the best place to pick up old snes/GB/sega games locally so I can sell them on?

An observation: I feel snes games really benefit from shaders that emulate the effect of a crt.
The pixels really melt together through the crt shader and create a higher res texture that gets sharp again through the scanlines. raw textures just look wrong
on the contrary i think nes games look ugly with crt shaders. the crt effect+scanlines dont add anything to the textures because they are so low res it's in vain. the scanlines make it look worse as opposed to on snes. i like the raw textures more, but a bit of blur and smudging through an ntsc filter seems...

How did they manage to get away with publishing this? Gore, close-ups of decaying bodies, sex references everywhere (dat scene where Gillian calls up a sex hotline or compares his wife's tits to a dancer's), this is by far the most "adult" game I've played which got an official Western release. You should know that the Saturn is shit and only has like 2 good games. Emulate it instead OP.
It's very pricy. Pretty robust little system though. Lasers don't die as easily as the PS1.
