I got a SNES with Super Mario World, Secret of Mana, and Starfox, and I'm having a blast with it. This also completes my collection of the major Nintendo consoles.

Well, Evangelion came out in 1995 and it has various /vr/ games.
OP, there is Evangelion 64 but it's a nightmare to emulate.
If you like visual novel kind of games, there is Girlfriend of Steel which has a fantranslation in english and you can play it on PC.
There are other VNs on Saturn but these are all only in japanese.
I remember playing a PC strategy game where you have to defeat all Angels one by one using Evas 00, 01, 02 and Jet Alone.
I think it was unofficial and in Japanese. Been years since I played it, so I'm not sure you can still find it on the net. If you can, though, try it. It was fun and pretty hard little game.

Though 1964 if you want mouse and keyboard in GE/PD. But otherwise PJ64.

When I first played this game back in... I think it was 1999, on emulator?... the entire joke was lost on me. I didn't even think "haw the dumb goat is making the guy think she's a sexy babe". I just thought she was sharing a picture of Princess Toadstool.
How do I git gud at Sonic 2's special stages?
Collect rings, don't get hit.

incidentally, you can go into stage select, beat a special stage and press reset to keep the emerald. keep repeating this until you've got them all.

Memorization is the only way. Once you beat the stages you feel good and they feel easy
My new years resolution is to best my retro game backlog and that includes the original 2 Fallout games along with Tactics. We had a similar thread recently but I didn't write down all I needed prior to it being deleted from the archive.
For ultra builds, the best trait is and always will be Gifted. Can play without it, but it's just too good. That's the first presumption. Other good traits include Kamikaze, Good Natured, Small Frame and Fast Shot (for burst-oriented characters).
As for stats, ST, EN and CH are relatively the least important (EN is not efficient at actual survivability for certain reasons, low ST problems can be easily alleviated with companions and/or car, and CH is a strictly flavor stat for some bonus interactions that aren't very consequential. It also determines your number...

The main differences in F:T character building are as follows:
>CH actually does something, and your main character should have 6-8 CH for a smooth playthrough. High CH characters get to hire much better allies in the Brotherhood headquarters much earlier in the game, which makes up for the "lost" SPECIAL points on your main char greatly. CH8 gives access to a really good perk, too. Only dump CH if you plan on solo play.

Also, Kamikaze trait has been changed in F:T, but it's even better and more straightforward in its implementation, so it's an even more apparent choice.
Note that F:T has also been designed with real time fighting in mind, and turn-based mode has been put in later. Whether you care about this info is up to you, but in general, F:T oddly enough works better in real time.
I honestly had no idea Shadowrun on SNES was such a great game. I remember my cousin having it when it when it came out but I was more interested in FF at the time. Is the Genny game as good as this?
The genesis game is much different, but if you love the atmosphere and story of shadowrun, you will love it anyways.
The hacking in Genesis is much much much better also.
