I've always lost it to this fucking gif everytime
How do cacodemons open doors?
Jagged Alliance is on sale on gog.com so as someone who likes to catch up on classics I think this is finally the oppertunity I've been waiting for.
My question is, is it worth playing all three games or just the infamous Jagged Alliance 2?
I'd just go straight for 2 if I were you.
Just 2.
Mike reporting in
ITT we discuss 32/64 bit western action games
This one got a lot of marketing push in Europe, I found it quite mediocre, what do you think?
This One is pretty good. Rather hard, but good. Really nice action set-pieces. Pain in the ass to google though.
>>2907684
I remember it had very nice graphics, but didn't enjoyed at the time.
Anyone else enjoyed Forsaken back then?
So...why was this added in Sonic CD?
why not

Anti-piracy measure is my understanding.

How does one get into collecting?
I have a knock off NES I bought for $20 and Mach Rider, Kung Fu, and Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. I also have an Atari 2600 Jr. with Berzerk and Yar's Revenge. Now what?*
Okay so the next part is the most difficult and time consuming one.
Make sure you read through this comprehensive advise I am going to give to you, many many times.
Alright are you ready??
The next step is to buy more games.
Good luck
>>2907565
get an old crt tv, post up on the floor and play that shit
>>2907565
You're picking a really bad time to be a collector. Most collectors started by picking up games from local swap meets and thrift stores, but people are quickly discovering that used classic games go for A LOT online. Plus, now that FUCKING GAMESTOP buys old console games, even fewer people are donating them to charities or selling them at garage sales.
The only thing you have going for you is that you don't own much, so finding something you don't already have should be a bit easier. But if you're...

Good place to find Atari Joysticks?
Good luck
80's movies
>>2907541
No kidding. They go for about 40$ with shipping on ebay :|
So what emulator do you use the most on you PSPs?
>>2907470
NES and PSX.
Pops
Name me a better wrestling game, I dare you.You can't.
>>2907505
Both games are amazingly fun, but this guy nailed it.
/thread
>>2907467
I agree. 4 player wcw/nwo revenge at 12 years old could start nuclear wars. That shit made us MAD. Only the best games would make motherfuckers mad.
>>2907505
Probably the better game but I have a special nostalgic place in my heart for Revenge since it's the one I grew up on. I never played NM.
Thoughts?
game was hard as fuck as a kid, never beat it
and now the color palette makes me wanna throw up so i never play it
One of the best Treasure games.
>>2907371
Liked it a lot as a kid, but never beat it because it's fucking hard. The only thing that makes it more difficult than a typical platformer however, is the fact that AFAIK there are no continues.
has anyone played this game? i loved this sumbitch
Agreed. Team buddies was probably the most fun I've had with the ps1.
has anybody got it to work on an emulator? every time ive tried it just crashes or freezes.
I just want to play pac man to practice for a local arcade. No mobile version f2p fuckery, no shitty ass flash ports, just the midway arcade version of pac man. What's the best way to go about this?

cmon man
What are the best pre-32 bit racing games in your opinion?
Hang On
Awesome port
Lotus series. The first Top Gear and TPG 3000 are both pretty good too.
We are well into the first month of 2016, and I have been having trouble deciding what I want.
So lets play a game /vr/
Visit this site:

The song it randomly chooses for you is the next game you will play (If you're in the middle of a game, after that one)
You can only reroll if you get a game that isn't considered retro (IE. Portal)
Post what you get
>Fallout 2
fuck yes
>>2907105
Touhou 6
sweet ive been meaning to play a touhou game
>>2907105
>http://vip.aersia.net/vip.swf
I rolled split/second, which is not retro, so I'm gonna play streets of rage 2 instead.
What's the best way to play Chrono Trigger? Are any of the ports better than the SNES version?
DS has new content and the cutscenes from the PSX version with no shitty loadtimes, but you gotta play it on a tiny ass screen
>>2907127
But the game looks so nice and crisp on that small screen.
The rest of you guys can correct me if I'm wrong, but the DS version only has a single extra sidequest... and that sidequest happens to be zero fun, a huge pain in the ass, with relatively pointless rewards.
What's the last score based /vr/ game you played that's not an arcade game or a port of an arcade game? Did you play for a high score?
Prolly ketsui or some CAVE shit, but I don't play for score. Most retro scoring systems are poorly thought-out. I think speedruns are more popular and interesting these days.
DK arcade for a thread a couple weeks ago here.
The way I see it, score in most console games is almost always pointless unless you can consistently pull of a perfect no-death run, due to how milking from death abuse works, etc. Otherwise it just becomes a boring game of reloading the same checkpoint over and over to milk points.
