I want to defend Bubsy just to spite the internet.
Is it ever explained how these two met?
Did they use to date?
Both met on their journey and found solace in that the other was lonely, like them?

>Both met on their journey and found solace in that the other was lonely, like them?
This is what the game more or less leaves it at. Zidane specifically asks if Freya found Fratley when they meet again, so clearly it's all that was on her mind when they met.

Are there romhacks that combine multiple AKI wrestling game rosters? I'd love to see one that combined, say, Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 with Wrestlemania 2000. All the characters, all the stages, and all the costumes.

The pedal thing was the cleverest implementation of a cover mechanic ever made.

Mario is missing.
Man that game is shit.
What USB gamepad with sticks do you recommend for 3D games/general use ? I was planning on buying one on ebay since my old controllers are no fit for 3D games and most new titles don't even support them.
If the games in question support xinput (or are on an emulator), you'll do well with the Xbone controller. If not, I believe the DS4 supports directinput, and if THAT doesn't, the DS3 definitely does.
On top of that, USB controller adapters are plentiful for pretty much everything, so if you want to use controllers you already have, it's just a quick google search away.

Someone here feel like doing a list of good wired controllers that have analog sticks? Seems like wireless is all the rage these days... :(
>>2919512

ill probably buy some dualshock-like 3rd party controller since i preffer the shape over xbox
Hey lads if you turn on a SNES with a game inserted will it display the game if there is no controller connected to the console?
The NES will.
So will the Master System II and Mega Drive. The Master System II doesn't even have to have a game inserted but you know what I mean.
My guess is no because the N64 won't either but it would be nice if somebody could confirm.
>>2919305
yes of course it will
>>2919341
Are you sure?
What if there is no game inside?
The SNES plays just like there was a controller hooked up. The N64 just asks you to insert a controller.
ITT: Good DOS games which are not well known, generally don't top "recommended" lists, and have not seen a revival.
This thread isn't for well-known popular timeless games like Doom or Fallout, nor for games which got popular later on like Strife or Dune 2.
Commencing dump.
Dune 1 - Cryo Interactive, 1992
This isn't Dune 2, the first RTS by Westwood, this game was developed separately at the same time. It's a hybrid of point-and-click adventure, RPG, and strategy.
In Search of Dr Riptide - MindStorm Software, 1994
Side-scrolling shooter/action adventure where you pilot a submarine. Good physics and a small variety of weapons.
Martian Memorandum - Access Software, 1991
The second Tex Murphy game, this is a walky point-and-click inventory/dialog adventure. Includes Access's proprietary "RealSound" system which played digitized voice out the PC speaker, sounded really impressive at the time. Good characters and plot.
What's the best sports game for people who don't care for sports and why is it Ike Ike! Nekketsu Hockey-bu: Subette Koronde Dairantou
Punch-Out is my pick. I don't care for boxing at all but it's very fun.
>>2919256
It's Punch-Out!! with precisely two exclamation points.
Get it right or pay the price!!
theres a pretty sweet dodgeball game for the snes set in the RCR universe. will try to find its name.
How come this motherfucker can shoot so many times per turn but I can barely shoot once? I have 8 agility.
NPCs can exceed 10 action points (from what I've learned in FO2). Also perhaps, programmers gave him the fast shot trait
Finally getting my Duo worked on and need to know what are some good Japanese Hu Card games? Keep in mind I cannot into Moon runes so JRPGs would be pretty hard to play.

What are some good retro boxing games? Whether arcadey like Punch-Out!! or more 'realistic'.
>>2918110
I liked this one from that Atari 2600 mashup cart. It would be highly controversial today though
>>2918110
Literally just the Punch-Out!! series. There's one for GBA that's cool, but that's not /vr/ obviously.
