So should we expect Gen II to be released on the E-Shop eventually?
My Crystal battery died
no, play HGSS
Just replace the battery
For once the NA cover art looks better.
Would people even know what animais these are supposed to be without looking at their prevos first?
>>26529489
not on /vp/ but everywhere else, sure

Greninja and Empoleon are incredibly obvious. Swampert too if you know what an axolotl is
drowzee may have been based off of a tapir, but hypno is something different altogether. this is the same for many other lines
Find a flaw.
Protip: You can't.

I hate masuda. He looks like the type of leader that suppresses genuinely interesting ideas that the staff come up with in favor of things like "just put more legends in the game everyone loves legends"
Pls come back to us Satoshi
>>26529436
1. He isn't Satoshi Tajiri, the creator of Pokémon.
2. He don't answers unanswer about lore questions.
How does he even fucking fly?
>>26529266
It's a children's movie.

with his wings? Psychic/legendary bullshittery maybe
It uses its psychic powers and/or its control over the air.
Gym Leader/ Elite 4/ Champion ideas thread?
The new Elite 4 are all your older siblings.
Your rivals older sibling is the champion
your mom is the champion
So, what is /vp/'s opinion on "inanimate object Pokemon? The the response I get often is that Game freak is running out of ideas. Some of these Pokemon look good and have good stats. Thoughts? Trash Pokemon is absolute crap
Drifblim is one of my favorites but surprised it doesn't get picked on all that often. I guess nobody remembers it. It doesn't even really make sense as a ghost type unless its based on something I don't know.
This thing looks cool, is amazing battle wise, and is literally a blood sword for it's shiny.

Hey, /vp/oreons. I'm gonna start a new game on Emerald. Say a Pokemon and, if dubs, I train it. If trips, you name it. Only gonna get two.
Pic kind of unrelated, it's the only Pokemon thing in my folder.
Dusclops
Jirachi
Mawilename her Yaya
So I'm not into Pokemon but i was wayyyy into it whenever it first came out. I still have all my cards and was wondering how much i could sell for various cards or my whole set.
This is just my first sheet, but I have almost all of the original series (unfortunately not a complete set). Some of them are from japan when my mom (who is a flight attendant) had trips there. All of the cards on the right are holographic on this first page.
Anyone good at appraisals? Do yall want to see more?
Aren't the Charizards worth like a billion jillion dollars or something? Or is there a specific print or something?
Honestly it's hardly worth anything. The market is oversaturated with people just like you, finding their old cards and trying to sell them. Pick out your rares, Charizard, Mewtwo, etc., and look up the prices for those. That, or set a super unfair price on ebay and hope someone falls for it.
Source: my multiple friends who work at a card store who turn down more than one person a day trying to sell their old cards.

His is neither first edition or shadowless, so in mint condition he might get $100 at best.
>2 rivals
>The one that choses the starter with advantage is a cocky jerk who only uses strong-mons and starts tough, but gets progressively stupid and predictable.
>The one that has the disadvantage gets utterly beaten on the first fight, and gets determined to beat you, so they start having better and better strategy, setting hazards, using status, and giving items to their mons.
>big region, with explorable areas where you can find a lot of hidden mons (like how you have to go very deep in a cave to find lapras or Tyrogue in Johto) but for all the pseudos and some other. Think about scyther being very deep in the woods, larvitar in a cave or even a starter, no more 1% chance to appear shit, straight out having to find them with HM puzzles (not just pressing A to cut the tree or some rock).
>HM's are now learnt from getting a gym badge, and does not occupy a slot in the moveset of a pokemon.
>Now you choose your own order of gyms, the level of wild pokemon and the difficulty of a gym depends on the number of badges you have, rather than on the route/gym itself.
>keep the new:old pokemon ratio to 1:3, enough to find new pokemon on every route, but still getting to have a lot of old bros to people who don't like the new designs.
Introduce roughly:
>50 new pokemon
>50 cross-gen evos and prevos (mons like farfetch or chimecho need it without having to waste your mega slot), so literally you don't screw up for chosing a pokemon you like. and also prevos to pokemon that start out too strong (mostly about 10 or so prevos) like a Lapras prevo, or a Torkoal one.
>50 new megas, most to already evolved-weak pokemon, not just on some broken shit like legendaries and lucario-tiers. Give it to Butterfree, Raichu, Roserade, Liligant, etc.)
>a poison mythical (making it the 151th for balance sake)
Cont'd
Also:
>Serious nerfing to the base stats powercreep that are megas and primals, base status overhaul on all mons (it depresses me how useless primeape is literally an inferior version of mienshao).
>Water is now weak to poison and Ice, but inmune to burns.
Grass and ice are now resistant to fairy
Burning now only reduces the atk 1 stage, not 2.
More sound attacks.
More fairy attacks. (not just like 4).
>We get more entry hazards that aren't stealth rock, such as grass,...

>only 50 new mons
>50 evos and pre-evos of old mons
this right here is garbage.
I love new pokemon because i get bored of the old pokemon very fast. BW was a perfect example, having all new pokemon for the first bit was great, it felt new and you could find your bros in post game.
Evos and pre-evos are good but 50 is way too many, maybe have 20 max. Megas im not fussed about.
The HM thing is good but it takes the fun out of the puzzle solving,...

I liked your ideas up until adding cross gen prevos.
What purpose do prevos serve other than "CUTE"?
Honestly...
I think anime should add de-evolution stone to let pikachu evolve for the league and then de-evolve it back to the right anime mascot but...
>>26528148
,,,,no
>>26528152
but why?
:|
maybe he would finally won just for once...
I guess it would feel strange at first, but I'd like it. Make normal evolution megaevolution, go full digimon.
Now that the dust has settled can we all agree that this was the biggest shit GameFreak has ever taken on us? They had so much potential 6 months ago. If only we knew how bad they really were I would have never wasted my hype on them.
>>26528132
A post from the future? Fuck yeah! What's the name of SM Protagonists? Saul and Luna?
>>26528132
so what exactly is bad? legendaries are getting weirder and weirder each gen, starters and mons too... so...? DPP were pretty bad [really...routes and some cities were stupidly planned]...but they improved since then...
You're still gonna buy it.
ITT: little things that piss you off

What a surprise.
>>26528122
>apologists
Not even Machamp can learn it, a Pokémon with four huge ass fists. Hell, even Machop has bigger fists than Togetic so the whole evolution stages argument still makes 0 sense.
