How long will it take for Gamefreak to make all cities feel like actual cities and not 4 houses and a pokemon center? Lumoise felt like what should be expected from a normal city

It'll never happen. Too many resources for not enough gameplay impact. Best we can expect is a couple of "real" cities per game.

It's SO dumb how much it shits on the special side. At least Skarmory can be dealt with by physical Fire moves for example.
