So, why did they hide his dex entry, /vp/?
Because it references another, unannounced Pokémon.
>>26737451
They didn't have to mention that the Dex's white circles represent /pairs/ along with evos, but they did. The pairing mention is key to what its dex entry will cover.
>>26737481
This. The website says that it was introduced to Alola to manage the population of some other Pokemon. The Pokedex entry probably refers to that Pokemon.
I'm the only one seeing this thing has the worst original artwork ever? It's not detailed at all (especially the head), some line are thicker than others for no reason and it's fakemon like to the extreme. I can't even look at its eyes withouth cringing.
As someone who had been saying that every gen 7 design was 10/10, this is a monstrosity. Only design of the gen that I actively dislike.
I just hope it has a nice looking evo. We can still hope.
The art looks bad but I'm delighted by the design and in-game model

Why couldn't Pokemon get their demonstration right like Zelda?
i don't understand this excitement
it's just a pair of boobs
>>26737409
>Implying Samantha Robertson in yoga pants "isn't getting it right"
>>26737409
what, have a chipmunk with tits present shit?
gen 1 design
>>26737334
Gen 1 has 90's anime eyes, not cartoon mouths
>>26737334
Cute :3
Eyes aren't angry enough.
Is there any type that you flat out dislike?
As in, no matter how good the Pokemon is, you wouldn't be able to put it on your team because of its typing.
Pic related for me.
No, but fire types are generally unappealing to me.
>>26737325
this tbqh
>>26737288
flying is annoying to me because you generally have to put it on your team in-game
Anyone else think that the new generation will just end up being a gen 6 repeat? Like bad story, way too easy, boring characters and tutorials, just like X and Y. And plus, someone said that they're "opening up to new players" or something, which pretty much means that it'll be stupidly easy. If this is the case, then the D/P remakes will end up like OR/AS, as the most hated Pokemon games to date. Your thoughts, /vp/?
The only Pokemon game with a decent story isnoneso I don't get why you'd give a shit about that
No one cares.
We have this thread every fucking day do we need another one.
Will we get more than 1 fucking bug family this time?
fuck gen 6's small amount of new pokemon
Hopefully, bug is my favourite type and I'm so hyped for this little dude.
>>26737227
Grubbin is the first stage for all the Bug-type Pokémon in the region. Like Wumple but with a lot of different evolution conditions.
Odd numbered gens are always the "let's introduce a fuckton of new Pokemon" gens.
This might just be nothing, but I feel like it'll be a sign of what's to come in terms of SM's difficulty.
We know two things. First off, your rival picks the starter that's weak to yours. Second, Lillie does not battle against you. This means that unless you get Chicken/Alola/Luna/Serene/Moon-Chan as a rival, the series will have literally stooped so low that your rival has the starter that's weak to you.
Dear god. Pray with me, /vp/. Even Gen 6 had a rival with the stronger starter.
If you want a hard game, consider playing VGC, or simply playing online.
did you not notice he also had a pokemon strong against your starter? and why are you so concerned with m-muh difficulty and m-muh asshole rival? if you want a hard game, play a game marketed toward, i dunno, adults, or like >>26737322
said, just play online you unredeemable autist
>>26737322
>vgs
>hard
>at all
Top tier VGC is just chinks spamming sheer cold at each other
strawpoll.me/7407519
>buying the game solely based on the box legendary
Hurr
I'm a Valencia CF fan so I'll go with the bat, for the moment I can't think of anything else that can make me change my mind
>>26737231
No-one mentioned Pokémon though.
>synchro evolution
>triggered by hold item
>item allows you to assign 100 bst boost to pokemon by incriments of 10 however you choose
>if syn poke faints you lose the battle
>can't trigger synchro evolution on last Pokemon in battle
>only one per team
That'd be pretty neat. Give the mega boost to any mon out there while having it be customizable and undetectable until activated. The only downside I see is that it makes mega evolution irrelevant, but maybe a synchro boost of only 50 bst instead would help give megas their place.
>>26737175
oh and no design changes obviously. Have the anime Greninja think be fluff. Just represent it by having something by the health bar or having the mon shine or something.
>>26737175
>if syn poke faints you lose the battle
way too severe for today's pokemon. this is the gen that introduced "here, let me tell you how effective every move is" because they thought not knowing all of them would make the game too hard.
>>26737634
it's literally the only way I can think of to have the synchro connection between trainer and Pokemon
>Sun-type Pokémon
>at a disadvantage if a Pokémon uses Sunny Day
>>26737143
The reason behind Solgaleo's typing has been said multiple times, no one on this board cares to actually listen though even though its a valid reason. Don't get pissed off just because you don't know how to listen to reason.
>>26737143
So are we still having these threads?
Implying it won't change form during a Sunny Day to have an immunity to fire attacks.
DENIALFAGS GOT BFTO
>>26737109
/sug/ :^)
>there were denialfags denying woodpeckermon
>there re people proud of themselves because they predicted woopeckermon
this is /vp/ now
did anyone truly deny it though?
I thought this was more popular than rock dog.
>every single Pokemon design showed off so far rages from good-amazing
>graphics improved 3 fold
>polish already evident
>the only "complaints" are a move-type effectiveness indicator in-battle which means literally nothing to us since we already know all type matchups anyway and muh rival
S/M looking fucking great right now.
Post yfw magearna will have base 100 stats across the board and a better moxie as it's ability
>>26737055
It does look great. I'm fine with their pre-release enticements. I just hope the content follows through when we get the game.
>>26737128
A better Moxie with that typing means a tank with offensive capability. If the stats are even higher and bulkier, I think I might just orgasm.
Has anyone else realised that Smogon is basically the EU but for Pokemon. All the boxes seem to be checked.
- Unelected officials who made decisions on practically everything that everyone has to follow.
- A whole heap of regulations pushed onto everyone
- On the rare chance the general population are asked about something, when the answer didn't go the way that they wanted it to, they ignored it regardless (remember Mega Gengar?)
Seems about right.
nice bait
Oh also, the main person who runs the system doesn't have any accountability for their power.
>and there's Lillie, she's professor Kukui's assistant, she's not a trainer but she will join in you in the after game
Speculation thread, this was revealed at E3
Semen demon.
>>26736986
She's the champion, a part of the evil group, or a
Zinnia clone.
>she takes you in a date like in ORAS
