I don't know, Game Freak is inconsistent about redundancy. If I remember correctly, all the other similar items like the Rage Candy Bar, Lava Cookie, Old Gateau, etc. could be obtained in the games they were introduced on.

As you know, due to changes at PEGI, the Game Corners have been censored since the European release of Pokémon Platinum (Nintendo confirmed they had to comply back in 2009).

ToTT: I've used a few niche picks but my favorite one as of this moment has to be safety goggles scizor. I might sound weird as hell at first but it allows you to punish amoonguss+most partners like gardivoir or kangaskhan by setting up swords dance and hitting hard with bullet punch. Also having a pokemon that doesn't instantly die to kangaskhan is incredibly good.
ToTT: Sableye for sure. Really underrated, priority WoWs shut down any physical attacker.
