This is Zygarde. He lurks in Terminus Cave all day and doesn't do much else.
A shame he didn't get his own game, it's actually one of my favourite Pokemon designs ever.
>>25596859
yeah, but he uses extremespeed when he does that.
Remember to thank Ultraseven, /vp/, for giving Tajiri for the inspiration for Pokemon through the use of Capsule Monsters.
Thank the original trainer, everyone.
Ultras in general are pretty hype
>>25596511
Fuck you and fuck your shitty childrens show. I ain't thanking nobody.
>>25596511
He also created Chi Chi and Cutter Kirby.
One last TPP thread, final battle is imminent
For those who missed it
>caught all 251
>beat the E4 rematch on our first try after catching them
>Abe (Anniversary Red's trainer) at the top of Mt. Silver with respective team
>beating him opens wall to new dungeon, unknown what's at the end (probably OG Red's team)
Get hype.
>>25596439
what game are they playing right now?
>>25596545
Anniversary Crystal, it's a Crystal ROMhack that added a ton of extra content like rematches, extra bosses (most based on TPP teams), new dungeons, etc. The hack should be released as soon as they get through the dungeon and beat the boss at the end.
>>25596439
Can you give some more info on how/where they're going to put up the ROMhack when it's finished?
>actually hating an entire generation (of pokemon designs or games) as opposed to just having a least liked.
No one actually hates an entire generation. They just don't want to admit they liked some Pokemon because "Muh insecurities"
>>25597694
Gen 2 had literally no appealing Pokémon though. Just shitmons with lazy designs.
>>25596377
The only games I hate are Diamond/Pearl because they were ass. And XY to a certain extent.
HGSS and Platinum are based.
Haven't played ORAS, should I skip it or what?
I wannna hug a Chansey!~
>>25596017
Jessie socks, a rare sight! Me too anon
Chansey is cute, CUTE!
I want to hug Jessie.
I did some sleuthing regarding S/M. I was really bored. My general conclusion is that this announcement is not notably different than other announcements in general.

Also, if someone happens to have info (with source) regarding Gen 1 and Crystal, I'd appreciate sharing it.
Good work, pretty interesting honestly.
You think they'll be good anon?
>>25596189
Depends on the standard.
Good in the general sense of videogames? Of course.
Good in the context of Pokemon? Also yes; This many games in, quality probably won't just risk sudden collapse unless there was a great core upheval (like a genre change)
Good according to /vp/? I don't even know if /vp/ likes Pokemon.
It's worth noting I've owned every main installment through Gen 2; I always get both versions. I'll probably like them just as much as any of the other 24 so far.
Why did Suicune have its own special version?
It's a weird choice. Its just one random pokemon out of a legendary trio, not even related to ho-oh and lugia at all.
>>25595753
Best dog innit
>>25595753
Maybe cuz the anime pandering it was receiving in that moment.
I always thought it was the coolest of the three, so I never really wondered why it got its own game. It seemed natural at the time.
In hindsight, it was probably just another example of GameFreak's favoritism.
>next month's corocoro leaks
>they reveal this little fucker
>"See you next month with new information for pokemon Sun and Moon!"
Post yfw
>>25595558
I'd be confused because the regional bird was revealed before the starters or the game mascots.
>>25595558
>mfw it's not even a reveal just a silhouette of the bird
>>25595558
As long as it's not fire/flying
>shuckle prevo based on an apple worm
>octillery evo based on a crocodile and a submarine, with a mega that's based on a stork and a jet that launches missiles
>lyrebird that evolves into an eagle with a harp-shaped crest (a harp-y eagle)
>>25595108
I don't have any, but would like to see some.
Bump.

>A worm inside an object turns into a worm inside an object
Wow OP, how unusual and creative.
One of my Pokemon pet peeves: routes that can only be travelled on foot despite being one of the major routes linking larger cities together. We know the regions have car technology, yet we often see routes with various obstacles that makes travelling by car completely impossible, making it questionable how they can even maintain a steady amount of trade (apart from Flying things back and forth).
Granted, cities rarely have more than 6 buildings, so the immersion is already broken in that regard, but I've always found it strange how isolated most cities seem.
If...

Are you retarded or something?
It's a handheld RPG, the canon world isnt limited to the areas you can access
It is implied that the MC travels on foot and thus uses adapted pathways (through moderate wilderness)
It...

Driving in the Pokemon world is a luxury, not a necessity like some places in the real world. Even Unova, the most urban region in the series, has their cars mostly relegated to off-screen things. And people still walk around Castelia despite how big it is. Walking around, or even biking around, is good exercise for you, and it gives you opportunity to make new friends or see cool looking Pokemon.
There's literally no reason to drive because you have Pokemon to do everything for you.

I like the fishing pier route in Kanto.
That music gets me every time.
What theories do you have to what the next starters will be? What starters do you want based on these theories?
All water-type starters are semi-aquatic, so maybe an amphibian or other things like that. Maybe one of those bugs that runs along the top of water.
It's hard to implement but I'd like a reverse secondary type triangle for the starters.
Gen 4 was pretty close and Gen 6 did a nice sub type triangle as a reference.
>>25594636
I just want another reptilian Grass starter. Chespin was a mistake.
A Fiddler Crab water starter could be nice
>Gen 2: Special Split, Dark and Steel types
>Gen 3: Abilities
>Gen 4: Physical/Special Split
>Gen 5: No changes to battle system
>Gen 6: Mega Evolutions, Fairy-types
Face it, gameplay-wise, Pokemon hit its peak at Gen 4 and has stayed at that peak since. There are no more major changes they can make without potentially alienating fans.
wow your opinion is weak and unnecessary
