Post Gen V Ghost is 2x effective on Steel/Psychic mons, so.....

fuuuuck this is happening to me now in my replay of alpha sapphire. you get access to surf right after the 5th gym, so now i just caught my 4th and 5th party members (jigglypuff and feebas) and they are like 10 levels under my other pokes
what's worse is now if i use the exp share the rest of my team will get even more overleveled

This always seems to happen to me on my first run through. I hate using early route mons most of the time, and nothing interesting appears unless you really know what to look for.
Hopefully we'll get Wonder Trade again in this gen so that I can do a Wonderlocke on a second run. It would help alleviate this a little bit.

That's the thing, though. Even if I max out my Kingler, here, he'll top out just North of 400, and I'm seeing 900+ Kingler holding gyms. My Vaporeon is XS, but even so, it still wouldn't break 900 maxed

I know an area in ther called the north woods where it would be great to set up lures in hopes someone receives surprise butt secks.
Also Harlem isn't too far from there, lures near the east river (around 125th st) would probably lead to an increase of muggings.

I didn't play the games much as a kid, so as soon as I bought my DS I went about getting pearl and fire red, then ruby, because I had a bunch of friends growing up that wouldn't stop talking about and recommending the games.
It was buizel that was my first, and floatzels cry is one of the first that pops up when I think of pokemon cries.
