Delphox is a magus and is way fucking better than Braixen.

While I don't think it's "way fucking better," I do think a lot of the hate comes from the fact that Delphox has a really bad model. All the art (even official art) of it looks really cool. Hopefully GF will change it at least a bit for Sun and Moon.

Why do people not like Delphox?
Its not that people dislike it, its that people prefer Braixen. Most people want Pokemon to 'just get bigger', but outside of the first 2 gens the Pokemon designers rarely have that in mind.

S&M is gonna try and be the magnum opus of the first era of the franchise. It's gonna be the definitive chapter, and bring the first series of games to an end.
Starting with Gen 8, we'll get our new Red and Blue for the new era. Masuda literally confirmed this several times.
