The first version is always shit. They are always removing the best in order put it in the third edition, which doesn't have much sells. If they made a decent first edition, not much people would buy the third, but if they make another shit like XY, many people won't buy it. Would you buy sun/moon if it has a the same postgame of XY?
D/P were shit.
B/W were amazing.
Both came out during the DS lifespan. The later games were better because they had more experience with the handheld.
It stands to reason Sun and Moon will be better than X and Y. Since it follows a similar precedence.

I like XY very much.
Damn I am replaying it right now and realize how fucking huge kalos is, but really some routes are way to short. If they just expanded on the routes, a little bit more exploring things, more new pokemon (especially legendaries), a poison dragon pseudo and some caves, where you don´t traverse the cave in fucking 5 minutes...it would probably be my new favourite gen. Oh and legendaries, who are hidden in the world and not like mewtu.

How much do you guys think the game will change mechanically and competitively for the next games?
For example, will they actually go through with nerfing Mega Kang after even Masuda acknowledged it was a bit too strong? Will they touch typing effectiveness again?

I like playing with a lifeline clause, if it dies in battle you have 30 sec to get to center and can save it. If done correctly, flip coin and see. Rng baby.
Nuzlockes are retarded. Never did one before but read about it, if your whole team faints you lose? So what you have to start over this 40 hour game? That's retarded. And it's not even difficult, all you have to do is overlevel. Really stupid. If you want to make the game more difficult, just train 6 pokemon, and never go out of your way to train. Your pokemon will be very underleveled.

Tyrantrum does not get many good moves to use as secondary STAB. Maybe Dark to use Crunch?
Defensively, it is difficult to say if any type would be all that great paired with Rock.

Yesterday was Cryogonal, today will be about the ninja before Greninja, Accelgor and its prevo Shelmet.
My thoughts: Another awesome Gen 5 Bug type. Accelgor is pretty nice to use, hits fast and hard, and does it well. I've used it in the BW2 PWT and it kicked a lot of ass. Conceptwise, the Accelgor line plays on the same predator-prey relationship of a species of beetle(Karrablast) that feeds on snails(Shelmet) and then takes the shell as their own.
