So I purchased the Savage Hunter dungeon, the other two dungeons seem useless.
Its real small, just a wide area with four corners, filled with Savage Mirages.
Its great if you want a challenge, the Mirages scale depending on what level you are, so you will always be at a disadvantage it seems like. There's also a boss room but I was too scared to see what was inside.

No, it has the "weapon triangle" but that's just a renamed slash/pierce/bludgeon resistance system from SMT
The game has nothing to do with Fire Emblem mechanically. It's 100% SMT with a small twist in that extra turns are replaced by sessions (hitting a weak point lets your teammate make a free attack if they have the right follow-up skill).
Skill collection is like Digital Devil Saga greatly simplified.

Yeah, that was one of the first things I got and it's made normal combat very easy.
With triple sessions being how you get the "x-star" performa and those providing limits to gaining new weapons and abilities it seems like they thought people wouldn't be getting three-hit sessions on every turn

It's funny, the biggest bottleneck by far in getting a game from the internet onto my Wii U is the write speed to my class-4 SD card.
Downloading the game, joining the par files, patching, all faster than writing ~12 gigs to a class 4 SD card

Well all +1 carnages gain an extra skill that is usually pretty useful, so there's that, but the low level ones are still pretty weak so you should be better off using the high level ones. There is a benefit in switching around your high level ones though since they have different affinities and some make you resistant or even immune to certain attacks
