Alright, got a raise yesterday. I highly suggest playing Blue, Red, or T260G's storyline first, though.
Blue's forces you to get a lot of magic--the magic collecting quests are sidequests for every other character.
Red's story has you visit several locales you might not otherwise, and is one of the storylines with a bit more structure to it.
T260G's also has a good deal of structure and, since he's a robot, he's a little easier to pick up and play with.
Save often, since you can save any time outside of a battle.
The game can be tough, since it's designed that each battle be strong, since you regain all health between fights.
