What are some good non-Souls 3D, linear, singleplayer action adventure games that have the same atmosphere and take place in the same kind of bleak, dark fantasy (or a non-fantasy with fantasy elements) setting? I'm looking for sort of an alternative to Dark Souls 3 because my PC is too much of a potato to run it without frames dropping like crazy every few minutes.
PC preferred, but emulatable consoles will also do as long as the game runs fine on an emulator. Also, yes, I've already played other Dark Souls games.
Hard mode: You can't suggest Shadow of the Colossus or King's Field/Shadow Tower.

We're making something like that, King's Field+Yume Nikki+Souls combat but in first person.
Basically, you have a special portal, you can place various items in the portal and if you're lucky the portal will teleport you into a new location.
You can use special items to alter the area you teleport in, like bonfire ascetics in Dark Souls 2, but with different effects - some items can make enemies stronger, some increases items drop rate, some plot items completely changes the location, etc.Are you interested, OP?

We're already implemented BB-style dashing, so you attack and dash if you can't interrupt enemy attack with your attack. While you attack you lose control over your character, like in DS, no animation skipping, so you have to time your attacks and dashing.
Also, like in BB, you equip weapons in right hand, and equip sub-weapons (like firearms) and tools in left hand, also left hand is used for healing/consumables.
