I played Tales From The Borderlands over the weekend.

I wanted to like this series but my 1st interaction with it was such a fucking mess.

>trying to talk to my team but every two seconds I got radio chatter

I know it's a minor thing but that kind set the tone of the game for me and left a bad taste in my mouth.

The Pre-Sequel has really bad pacing, it often makes you run across the map several times. The Bogan gun is great though.

Missions in the pre sequel are way too fucking long. In the time it takes to do 1 story mission in the pre sequel, you could do like 4 in Borderlands 2

I've been playing through the first game again as Brick, working my way through the Knoxx DLC now.
It's surprisingly still enjoyable, I'd argue even more so than my playthrough of BL2. Guns feel more unique, and I've gotten at least a dozen legendaries so far without even trying.
I plan to play the Pre Sequel, but I'm waiting on a friend so we can co-op together.

I enjoy it, but I really with the main story had been longer. You finish the game before you get even close to powerful with whatever character you're playing as. I guess playing over and over to get the best loot drop just isn't for me

I'd play the shit out of a proper Borderlands game with the Tales writers on board.Or just a sequel would be nice, too. It was released stand-alone on a disc pretty recently — so at least they haven't TOTALLY forgotten about it...

The level scaling in BL2 is ridiculous. The sort of fixed it in the pre-sequel but all the player characters are boring.

Fucking really enjoyed Tales from Borderlands. It had some genuinely laughable moments and was a great addition to the Borderlands Universe.
Handsome Jack is great. I've yet to play the Pre-Sequel but you can play as "Jack" can't you?

i had a 50 athena but somehow the game assumed i didnt beat the final boss in the second playthru
so i go up and get rekt since it was like a year the last time i played
second try i just go in toss my shock nades(homing) while running in circles
second phase same thing but use a shotty to fuck up its face...
recall it being much harder in normal mode...oh well.

Why are the boss fights all so awful
Haven't played that game in a while but I used to be legendary at quickscoping on xbox 360 version. I'd chill at the end map that has lava everywhere and I'd just qs those bird things all day long. I got really fucking good at that shit
