I thought she was fine at first, but then I realized she really is too easy for casuals.
My original defense was that you should be able to burst her down before she can successfully do her immobilizing freeze combo into guaranteed headshot, something that I've done many many times, but then I found out that the bitch has fucking base 250HP.
It's really absurd that she has that extra health. It's really too easy, that extra 50HP over a bunch of classes means it's that much harder to kill her in one fell swoop. Meanwhile, her combo is the equivalent of W+M1 Pyro's in TF2, just flailing in your direction and not having to be super accurate.
I played a bunch of her, it really is super easy, and honestly I think she'd be balanced if they just removed the right-click from her gun. Having the freeze, ice wall, stasis, and ult, are more than enough to be credit to team.

It was down to her appearance. Following her initial reveal last November, she was received overwhelmingly negatively by the majority of the Chinese Blizzdrones, since they were apparently upset that their only rep in the game looked to them as being, in their words, "just a fat white woman". I kill mei's first before anyone. she can end a push by separating tanks from healers, she has a shit load of 9:1 matchups 1v1, a good mei is a bane to pug casuals.
Bastion needs to be reworked in general. He stomps pubs, but is useless when people actually communicate. Even Tolbs is a better pick in actual games.
I have no idea how to fix it though. Maybe make him sorta like the Heavy? Turret mode is on treads, but really slow and the damage is cut. I'd just remove him from the game honestly. We already have the dwarf. Tolbs can give a MASSIVE 75 armor to his team, has a nearly infinite range turret that is easily replaceable, respectable DPS via a medium range projectile and a short range shotgun, and a really good ult that makes his turret godlike and massively increases his DPS.

Although my favorite thing was when the enemy team went 6 bastion and I used reaper to teleport by all of them unnoticed and started capping the point myself. 30 seconds later a fucking crowd of them marched up the road and killed me so fast. Still it gave my dumbass team enough time to push out.

Nerf her health by 50 she's tanky enough with ice block and the ability to flat out stop people from shooting at her with walls.
The real problem with this game is how busted Widowmaker is. She's got insane damage, retarded rate of fire, and a fucking wallhack ult on a sniper for some stupid reason. She can 2 shot everyone in the game besides tanks faster than they can react. She's the only broken character in the game. Everyone else you can at least react to and potentially deal with, she just sits in the back knowing exactly where you are as she one-shots everyone but the tanks she 2-shots instead.

Hey, ease up on the Zen master. I've managed to take out a bunch of Bastions myself with discord, (so long as I actually got the drop on them.) Zenyatta can do some crazy damage if people don't pay attention to him - but he's also the squishiest character of the lot, and he's slow as fuck.
...then again, if the LOL was targeted at harmony keeping someone alive from concentrated Bastion fire - then yeah, sure. Harmony's a brilliant HoT, but it won't keep you alive from constant Bastion turret fire.

Mei just needs to be normalized with the rest of the close range people. They went the reaper route of 250 HP which was a mistake because Reaper only has one move that makes him invulnerable and has to get up close to do anything.
She gets a really strong right click, an instant win condition 1v1 if you get tagged for more than one second. An invincible ice block that fucking heals her, and a wall to throw up to block people from shooting at her after the ice block. She's a better mcree if you can land right-clicks and funnily enough mcree is supposed to be her counter but with 250HP she can easily trade him if she survives the pocket-sand which does happen because rng if she tagged him for even a second before the sand hits.

Playing in pubs is pain. Even playing with friends leaves you out with those two pub members that most of the time just switch to McCree and die 10 times. A good McCree can obliterate a team and yet I've only seen a handful of good McCree's.
