OP, when you start a level in Super Expert, keep the minus button already pressed. That way you can at least see if something is going to kill you instantly and either react to it, or skip it entirely. Also, this is my personal advice, but if you haven't beaten your first stage and your lives are already below 90, quit and restart. Good luck bro.

Whoops, I assumed since it had the Whimsical Waters thumbnail that I had already played the ghost level when I didn't. If no one else takes First Clear I'm down.

Kinda, but it's not one that has to do with level design. There's this weird AI glitch I found with Bowser Jr a while back that makes him get out of his shell animation earlier than usual, but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

These aren't my levels, but I actually finished this campaign earlier today. In my personal opinion they're really well designed, and have a progressing difficulty that doesn't get ridiculously hard at the end.
