I dunno. I like Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Dark Souls 3 a lot. Demon's and Dark 3 have the most consistent area quality, and they never really drop as hard as late game Dark Souls or late game Bloodborne in my opinion, and Dark 3 has some of the coolest bosses in the series even if some of them are a bit on the easy side

I'm pretty sure DS2 was almost entirely constructed with PvP in mind, which hampered the PvE experience. So many of the bad PvE design choices were made to refine PvP. Shame the backlash from that caused them to almost entirely ignore PvP in Bloodborne.

Not him, but I think it happens because of heavy load on the servers. I had trouble finding my friend summon sign too, until we moved away from bonfires / fog gates.

You can use a password like in BB to summon friends. If you want more than one phantom you password up, summon friend, and then deactivate your password. I'm hoping they patch in an on/off switch for the password though. It's kind of a pain in the ass to have to input the whole password every time you summon a friend. It needs to be you set the password and then just toggle whether it's active or not.
As for why ut's so difficult? It's because of the sheer number of people putting summon signs down. I have a screenshot saved on PS4 of the first time I came up to Vordt. Area before the doorway was solid white with a few specs of gold because of the summon sign density.

It seemed to work fine for me easily the best in the series for online. I didnt really do any hardcore co-op or pvp though. putting on a ring to get co-op working was stupid, but at least it worked.

whats with all the Ds2 Hate? i feel that after scholar, its right to sit with the others, heck ive died more to the ds2 bosses than ds1. Once you get like 40-50 endurance in dark souls you just roll through everything and the game becomes so trivial.

DeS Estoc was godlike perfection that remains unsurpassed. It had a full compliment of strong moves and easily the best moveset in series history. It was also a very viable slash weapon in DeS and not just a BS device.
