the only issues that still affect GT is their sound design which is worst in class and their networking and online play which is probably about 5 years behind.
People say its a premium vs standard car issue i say not really because there are still more premium cars in the game than any other game has cars full stop.
Beyond that the core mechanics are brilliant, the physics are spot on and GT6 even runs at 1080p AND 60 fps on the PS3... it might actually be the only game that did that.
the guys at polyphony are very talented and it would be unwise to think that GT sport will sell under 6 mil units.

Yeah, the single player mode alone has hundreds of hours worth of entertainment, especially if you go for gold in every event. Just be prepared for every event having a flying start with you starting last, making pretty much every race a game of really unfair catch-up.
