I remember putting more than 20 hours in Xenoblade Chronicles, thoroughly enjoying my time on the Gaur plain, then that Pokemon character and magical girl got introduced in the forest near the waterfall and the hanging bridge and I played something else for three years, went back, game looked like shit on my new TV and had no interest in relearning the mechanics and going throught tons of trivial encounters.
All I remember is that the game kept throwing shit at you and that fucking tutorial lasted for days. I also couldn't decide which 3 characters to use and consider the system where you have to put characters out of action to be inherently flawed.
I've been playing Xenoblade Chronicles in the mean time and just gotFiora back. How long do I have to the end?

Lack of Dual Audio, shitty localization censoring religious symbolism, and the removal of content via bikinis is just too much to merit a full purchase for me.
I'm gonna wait for it to release, and properly assess the damage to see if it's worth shelling out €60 for the western version, or if it's better to play the Japanese version with a subtitles patch.
It's stupid too, all NoA really had to do was put subtitles over the dialogue, which means we could have had the game shortly after the J release, but they went out of their way to butcher everything which means we not only get a worse exp as consumers, but also, we had to wait for it longer too.

The Japanese version went out of it's way to hire a top notch voice cast, the NoA version will probably be voiced by the same people they have voice over everything. Not to mention, with the original language I don't have to deal with the Treehouse's poor localization choices like: "Skell" or "Builders of our Legacy After the Destruction of Earth," as much.

Well, you can already mod tue WiiU and load games.
All you really have to do is take the text from the localized version, and patch it onto the Japanese version. Maybe even modify the changes made by NoA so it's more true for the original.
The only pity is that I can't do this without pirating, the ultimate exp would be to have it in disk for faster load times and such, but then again, Project M exists.
I don't mind waiting a couple years for a better exp, and enough people are pissed off by all this that it's bound to happen.
Hell, I have a solid enough grip on Japanese, and I'm moving there next year, I just struggle with reading it, however, the console is still locked.

Still considering that undubbing is quite difficult task for quite a lot games and systems, it is really not known how much it'll take. Some games can get really glitchy after that (Hi God Eater) So I guess it depends on your patience with waiting for such patch.

There is a lot of kanji, but doesn't seem like it is overloaded by it. Knowing even alphabets should help a lot I think.
