I'm getting into it, and would love to talk about the tips, tricks, andmodsyou guys use to enjoy this game.

Tips/Tricks. Get to floor 60 in the mine ASAP, farm coal between 60-62. When you get to 63 see if any of those coal sprites are there, kill em, leave mine through ladder, start over.
Use coal to make loads of preserve barrels. Always grow the most expensive seed crop every season and make preserves from it in your first year. Cauliflower/Melon/Pumpkin. It's okay if you grow more than you can preserve right away you will have all winter to preserve/brew and sell.
Tap oak trees and save up oak resin throughout the year. Make Kegs when you get to that rank in farming.
Upgrade your watering can to copper first, since it'll be a while before you can make a lot of sprinklers. Try to time the upgrade between seasons where you aren't growing anything.
Fishing will get you a ton of money early on, and it is the largest amount of skill gain per energy use you can get. When you're at about 1/3 energy, don't want to eat, and have a lot of daylight left, you can get a lot of fishing done. They sell well.
