You'd be able to fully customize your tank's appearance, attributes and weapons as well as the operator appearance. Combat would take place in urban settings or arenas with destructible environments. The tanks would have various weapons(both melees and long ranged) and abilities such as being able to run on the side of buildings, jump from rooftop to rooftop and so on. I'd call the tank Treadnaughts or something like that.

A game where you play as a little cartoon dog. You'd have the ability to stand on your hind legs and walk around or run on four legs. While on two legs you can talk to people and interact with things like a person. Four legs lets you move faster and interact with things like a dog would.
The game is nothing but environments to explore, objects to touch and interact with, little stories that unfold between NPCs as you follow their lives. Dozens of environments, hundreds of people and thousands of objects to play with. Every area feels lively and inviting. Some areas even have little minigames for you to play or small objects you can collect. Ambient music that is both curious and settling, so that it pushes you onward to explore but never makes you feel rushed.
Dedicated nap button that lets you lay down and relax.
All in all just a sweet little game with lots of things to mess around with so you can lose yourself for a little while.

An ambient horror game in which you play entirely from the seat of a car at night. You're driving home from a late night at the restaurant you work at. There's no jumpscares to be had and the game ends as soon as you pull into your driveway. It's more like Yume Nikki or LSD in that as you drive along you see things outside in the darkness. Sometimes the weather changes. Sometimes the roads changeSometimes you see things INSIDE the car. Sometimes someone is in your passenger seat or your back seat. Sometimes they'll even have a short, one sided conversation with you before they're gone.
The car would also have an incredible amount of detail put into it. A vintage model. Something with a clean, authentic feel. Working radio. Dials and knobs to play with. Cigarette lighter, but you don't have any cigarettes.

I've always thought the idea of a survival horror game in which you play as a mental patient would be fun. The mental hospital itself is completely harmless, even well run. The doctors and nurses are your friends. You have PTSD, or maybe some degenerative brain disease. You're not healthy, but you want to be better. Your life is getting better.
Then one night they come. Some anarchist, neo nazi punks who want to kill the mentally disabled. Exterminate the lot of them. Suddenly the place that was supposed to make you feel safe and help you is your labyrinth. You get to watch doctors who promised to see you leave in good health be executed in front of you. You have to deal with trying to sneak past the creeps patrolling the halls while you fight for control of your own body.
The stress makes you see things. Makes you twitch. Makes you scream out when you want to be hidden. When you finally manage to kill someone in self defense it nearly pushes you over the edge.
I just thought it would be a fun flip on the horror trope of asylum with psycho killer patients.

Two-weapon sets as in Order of Ecclesia, lots of weapons to find. All weapons have different movesets with directional attacks and combos like recent Kirby games. Air combat, juggling. Just give a LOT of combat options and let the player figure out when and where to use them, and how they synergize together. Power is based on the player's ability to execute combos.
Varied traversal techniques as in Azure Striker Gunvolt or Dustforce -- wall and ceiling running, air dashing. Combat and traversal account for one another, making fighting satisfying while not distracting from the speed and flow of the game, as in MegaMan Zero/ZX.
Semi-metroidvania progression, branching paths in level design with exploration in mind, secrets to find, modifications to unlock, weapons hidden gracefully through varied environments, but more linear stages once you find them.
Magic, both as in Symphony of the Night and in item form, tons of secret shit about your character you might just stumble upon near the beginning of the game that are hardly ever explained.
Challenging difficulty throughout, despite character progression.

I imagine it'd be like a stealth game essentially. You capture your victims, drag them away from prying eyes, kill them (or torture them, you can go full on buffalo bill if you want) and then head back out for the next hunt.
living a normal life could probably be a minigame, like maybe have a typing tutor (think more typing of the dead than mavis beacon, just call it delusions while at the workplace of what you plan to do when you get off) to simulate an office job or something.

You know it's kinda funny, ever since I was a kid I had an idea of a perfect game. When playing trough Witcher 3, I realized it was it. Literally what I had as a perfect game. Even down to the gritty fairy tale characters and the main character's way of combat (magic + sword) except in my head it had a bit more synergy/combo between the 2. And back then I didn't even know the Witcher existed.
Later on trough the game I realized it kinda wasn't, mainly because of the choices, but also some issues like more synergy between magic and sword, more build options (mainly in terms of armor) and well... The last 30 minutes of the game, final bossfight included, literally sucked.
TL;DR: Witcher 3 + more meaningful choices that actually change both gameplay and story (and different endings) + more synergy between magic and sword (like actual combos) = my perfect game.

Dwarf Fortress meets Dungeon Crawl meets Stalker meets Total War. Post apocalyptic top-down RPG (Stalker) where the main emphasis is constructing a new society out of the ruins of the old world (DF). Your player character is a fully controllable unit at all times that can be used to pick through the ruins alone (Dungeon Crawl) or with your other units, built from your base. Upon encountering an enemy stronghold, or your own being attacked, the game shifts from a construction/looting perspective to an RTT perspective, commanding the units you created (Total War).
I have no idea how it'd actually work, or what it would be like, but that's what my perfect game would be like. Replayability in the same vein as DF, procedural generation and a sense of exploration like in Dungeon Crawl, a modern and relevant post-apocalyptic setting that still has sci-fi/fantasy elements like Stalker, and a solid RTT element like in the TW games.
