My friend's one of those weebs that loves anything with cute anime girls in it. It's always about shitty Kyoani shows or godawful games like Neptunia.
Anyway he always told me "man Project Diva is so good you should play it" and I wrote it off as just another game I wouldn't give a shit about because I was half convinced it would be a shitty licensed game based on vocaloids or whatever. But one day I was bored as fuck and just said "screw it" and downloaded the Project Diva F demo. That game was easily my GOTY back in 2013. Good shit.

Asscreed 4 is okay (though admittedly, I'm blinded by how much I like piracy and shit. I'll admit I would have never played it otherwise) and I really liked Last of Us. I think people give it too much credit for the story and not really enough for the fun, frantic as hell at times gameplay. Though I wish it focused less on setpieces where you just meander about a forest with ellie pushing her around on palettes and more on stuff like the firefights with clickers or other survivors. I guess that's what multiplayer is for though.

The psychology behind it is pretty interesting really. Most of the time your experience is horrible, but every once in awhile you get super stronk and slap your dick all over the other team's face while your own team cheers you on. So the rest of your time is spent chasing that high point, trying to grow your dick so that it's large enough to crush the enemy team. That's why MOBA players are often evangelical about their game, they want their friends to watch them wave their dick around and be the biggest person in the match.
I've gotta admit that it's pretty satisfying when it all works out, it's like going on some crazy killing spree in an FPS game, except to a greater extent and with a captive audience.
