Opinion on the Hitman Games? Wanted to get into them for a long time but I still don't know exactly how they are and what game to get into first. I was thinking Absolution, but I don't really know.

Blood money is a great game.
I heard the older ones didn't age that well, but you could try starting with Contracts.
Absolution is very different in its mechanics, it's more story-driven and linear, instead of a sandbox/medium to large map with a target, it's more of a "go from A to B and kill this guy in the way". Some missions don't even have targets.
The new one is supposed to go back to Blood Money's standards: large map, a target, and a hundred ways to complete your mission.

I'm pretty against episodic releases, so I'll try starting with Blood Money. It's the one I've definitely heard the most praise for.

The hitman franchise was good until blood money.
After that it's just the same thing over and over again.
It seems that the developers had no interest for innovation and only make yet another "checkbox" hitman game from time to time just to make a quick cash grab

Respectable opinion. I'm still deciding if I should buy or wait a year. I heard the PC port is not that great.
BM is considered the best by many, just keep in mind it can be a bit tricky at first. My advice is try to stay away from guides and develop your own strategy for each map. Use the manual save function to do "test runs" on each map to get comfortable with each layout, NPC routines and killing opportunities.

I liked the 2015 movie way more than I thought I would. It was more faithful to the game story and the character of 47 being an emotionless brick wall. The only thing I didn't like was the chinkified Diana and the bit where 47 walks into an embassy and gives away his face and name.

You can use a single silverballer with a sniper scope and do almost anything with it.
The 22sd can go through metal detectors though, but for the rest the silenced sniperballer is more than enough for anything that cant be an accident.

Even with a scope, the ballers aren't that accurate. I prefer using the sniper with HP ammo and semi auto fire mode. It's a bloody battle rifle.

Sort of, but it's pretty limited. Like you have to do a bunch of challenges to unlock weapons like the sniper rifle, and then it's not even the classic suit case rifle.
