Nah, the game choices just suck ass nowadays. I occasionally go couple of weeks without vidya, only watching YT shit or posting on 4chan instead.
The most effective cure for this "tired gamer syndrome" always seems to be the same: play okder games! Pick up some older classic you skipped back in the days, and go check out what the fuzz is all about.
Silent Hill games 1-4 are some such games, and you can play them on any PC.

And in case someone's once again new to this PC gaming stuff: Use a program like DaemonTools Lite to mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
The "sh2proxy" fix works as a no-cd crack as well, and is included in the pack.
in case you experience issues saving the game / not being able to edit the disp.ini, make sure the files aren't set to "Read Only", and run the game as Administrator.

Rayman, Turok and Heart of Darkness are my go-to games when I'm fatigued by current games.

It's mostly a story and event driven experience. I have personally never been a fan of the job system. I prefer my pre-written and designed characters with variety, strengths and weaknesses.
That being said, 6 is a good game, but kinda overrated IMO

I think the problem is that through your life, you play certain genres of games and you like some and you hate some, you stick to that and keep playing the same kinds of games over and over. They can be different series, but end of the day they are the same kind, just play something completely new, something you don't even know if you will like.
