Which dub did you use for the Witcher series? Polish or English?

English, there is no reason for me to listen to it any other language. It's a medieval fantasy game, they can speak in made up languages, any accent, deep voices, light voices, preferably a mix of all, and it will work. Understanding the language spoken is simply better in regards to this genre (with the exception of an obvious made up language within the fantasy world)
It's not atmospheric to one language either, even if it is a Polish developed game based on a Polish medieval fantasy series, because it borrows elements from all over the middle ages and mostly tolkien-esque stuff anyway.
Compare this to say, a WW2 game where you play as the Germans or Russians, it's just lame to give them a generic German or Russian accent and they speak English. I speak neither German nor Russian, but if I played such a game and it was dialogue heavy, yes, I would absolutely use subtitles and the correct language to the speaker.
Medieval fantasy, it doesn't really matter to me. The English dub sounds fine to me, except for TW1, but that was because of the low budget, so it's from a technical aspect and not a talent one. Also, Polish does not sound good to my ears. Like I said, I don't speak German either, but I can definitely listen to Germans, or French, or Spanish. Doesn't sound bad to me.
I tried polish for a while but all characters sounded the same to me.
It was amusing but not amusing enough so I changed it back.

Not sure. Japanese Geralt is a bit gravelly too. For some reason a lot of english voice actors think that a long road traveled means a raspy voice. See it in games all the time.

Don't get me wrong, I know Polish is a complex language so it doesn't sound right with theatrical performances, but compare the English voice actors with the Polish voice actors for Witcher 2 and Witcher 3 (especially the Wild Hunt warriors) and there is a big damn difference between the two.
I like the Witcher in polish, the Witcher is polish after all, it flows better, every scene clicks better because of it, but English is superior (not in Witcher 1 obviously).
With that said, Polish Yennefer is best Yennefer, hands down.

Polish is up there with Arabic and Indian in the "worst sounding spoken languages" category.

What are some of the best side quests in Skellige? It's the area I did the least sidequests in before finishing the main quest and I feel like I missed out. I've only really done Cave of Dreams and a few miscellaneous unremarkable Witcher contracts. Also the stuff with Hjalmar and Cerys of course.

Jap is just slightly above Pol, and Pol is close to Rus, so there really isn't that much of a difference between the three. All three versions were sung wonderfully

Half-polack here. I speak some polish, so understanding the dub wouldn't be a problem, but I started playing Witcher with english dub, and Geralt's tryhard ruthless mercenary voice kind of grew on me. Adds some humorous flavor to the conversations.
