No I dont like clannad. Ive read 5 routes and it was fucking terrible. The pacing was abyssal. No beyond abyssal. The one route with the kyu/ryu (or something like that) was just pulling teeth so let me use that as example (since it was the best one as far as I played it).
First you have to date ryu even though its obvious she is going to the chopping block and is just there to tearjerk for kyu. Then you start dating and kyu (whom from being on first name basis I assume is a friend of yours) is being violent for no reason. Yeah, sure, just drive over me with your stupid scooter.
So then you start dating and of course you have to shoot her down in every opportunity because you are actually trying to pound her sister. So you tell her you dont like her hair, her face and her cooking. Naturally our poor lamb tries to change that for you but you know its useless. Then you do a bunch of dating shit since kyu pushes you into that and you have to sit through a small novel worth of words describing every singel thing you do. When you finally do you can start getting close to kyu because your dick knows which way it is going.
Then you get into the meat and even though kyu denies you its obvious she wants your dick. But instead of making a push you beat around the bush. Then you get to this really stupid section in which you first draw a terrible tarot card lot. Then you go on ANOTHER date. But not only do they not cut any slack on words, they go through every single thing and make you mismatch constantly.
Then when youve been blueballed and shit is falling apart you can finally tell ryu you have been wanting to fuck her sister but god wouldnt let you. You have the option to not do that but then it stops in 5 lines. Then its still not over since kyu needs a million words of convincing. When she is convinced she still really isnt and does this retarded haircut show to confirm your love to her. Which was already confirmed 5 hours of reading beforehand.
