Combat in Bloodborne is way more aggressive and faster paced than the other Souls games so people (myself included) needed to adjust to this new style of gameplay. Going from Bloodborne to Souls would be a much tougher switch I'd imagine since the combat is slower and it's more of a wait and strike type deal.

That's what I meant, large enemies are the easiest. On the other hand, I was absolutely destroyed by enemy hunters once I went into the Hunter's Dream. In Dark Souls it's completely opposite tho: my +3 Lighting Zweinhander just stuns for an easy R1 spam, while large bosses don't give a shit.

Bloodborne was my first as well. There are 2 ways:
1)get good at parrying. Every hunter enemy becomes easy when you get good at it, and Gascoigne is no exception.
2)get good at dodging in and out of his attack radius. It depends on which one of his phases you're stuck on, i assume its the 2nd/3rd one. For the second phase, wait for him to do a heavy attack, dash into him, hit him 2 or 3 times, dash away from his attack, repeat. If it's the 3Rd phase, then you should NEVER try to run away from him, rather try to stay to his sides/back and sneak in some hits in-between dodging his swipes.
Also, be wary of your surroundings. I died numerous times by bumping into a tree/tombstone while trying to dash away from him.You can also use the music box, but only if you are a casul

Amelia is only hard because of this: Gascoine and Blood Starved Beast are generally fought from the front, parrying and getting viscerals. Then Amelia comes in and she is the exact opposite, cant even parry her AFAIK. Then she kicks back from the right foot, so you have to know all these things when fighting her. Because of this almost nobody will beat her first try blind.

I can't deal with these werewolves without cheesing them through the doors, and I gave up this last time because I had just killed the werewolves that attack you after the chandelier falls, and I heard a brain sucker, but I was looking and looking for it, and after I gave up, it appeared behind me, stole a bunch of insight, and killed me. They seem much more aggressive here, they never gave me a problem before, neither did the werewolves. I am having a problem parrying them which I never have.

I usually shit on Bloodborne because I think it's a boring, overly confusing and overly difficult piece of trash, but I got to this boss the other day at level 28 and beat her on the first try while high on painkillers and lying in bed with a broken foot looking at my 32 inch TV at an angle from 15 feet away despite dying at least a dozen times trying to get up those stairs to her area.
Literally all you have to do is spam R1 and circle, same with every other shitty Souls boss. She didn't even go into her healing state because I just kept spamming attacks.
