I think she was a good character, but just one that I personally severely disliked. I really enjoyed the major dissonance throughout the game, where Chloe was constantly prodding you to do things that you knew were bad ideas, but you feel obligated to go along with due to a pressure to make reparations for abandoning her years ago.It particularly hit home for me. My family moved about 8 years ago and I didn't really know how to emotionally process it at the time so I just didn't tell my best friend anything about it and just disappeared and have never talked to him since. I still feel extremely guilty about it.

I honestly love\hate devs for how they handled the endings. No matter what anyone says I hold the belief that in games generally the majority would always sacrifice 1 for the lives of many in any game mostly because players enjoy "sacrifice for the greater good" trope and because usually devs don't make it such a personal choice for you. Here not only they make you care so much about that 1 but also guilt trip you during the "right" ending (sacrificing her) with showing those pictures changing into Max being all alone etc. and that fucking music in the ending builds you up to more anger over the decision. And the second ending while ultimately selfish atleast for me really made me worry about how the things work out between them. Chloe was ready to sacrifice herself and you deny her "moment of redemption" because as a player you've basicly been saving her "all for nothing" the entire game and for Max because as she herself said Chloe is the only thing that mattered to her anymore. And then that fucking music again and driving through the destroyed town with Chloe's uneasy smile at the end. I really think this is the best example of endings atleast attempting to feel personal and wash the area of "right" and "good" choice (Even tho again they're those "your choices through whole game aren't worth shit" and they don't really do a good job of making them feel finished. They didn't really disclose the future of any characters in either of those, but I guess it's to make them hit even harder because you're basicly left hanging like a buoy in the sea with more questions than answers).

she most likely didn't know about the rewind teleport since she only had it for an hour. and max's powers were getting fucky in episode 2 leading to nosebleeds and blackouts so it makes sense for her powers to fuck up, plus it adds a sense of challenge when trying to get kate off the roof without just rewinding, in my opinion this game is 9/10
What I don't like about the game is how the character models no better then what you'd see in Second Life. I thought my graphics card was bad because the characters looked too plastic, but when I saw my sister playing Life if Strange on her gaming computer I saw the character models still looked bad.
