HM2 does everything the first game does well better imo, but the fact that some glitches carry over from the first game is really fucking annoying. Dying due to a glitched out door on a long ass level was so fucking frustrating.

I didn't like how often I had to use guns. Still good.
Dark Souls 1. Great level design, great combat, great bosses. No "open world" bullshit, which is a plague to this kind of game; instead, there are always enemies to fight, treasure to find, and things to explore.

I love hunting for secrets; just exploring around, finding new badges, star pieces, etc.
I love the variety of different strategies that the game allows you to use, by switching partners and switching your badges up.
I think this game struck the right balance of interactivity during battle sequences and strategy.
I just love everything about this game.
