Are there any good games that take place in cyberspace?
>>345434853
WTF is cyberspace? Is that like pokemon land or something?
>>345435026
Y'know, like in TRON.
There are, but naming them would spoil them for you.

Enter the Matrix.
>>345434853
Saints Row IV
Soul Hackers
Megaman Battle Network
pretty much every Digimon game, but I recommend Cyber Sleuth
>>345435082
Tron 2.0
Darwinia
Transistor

I have no mouth and I must scream
System Shock 2
>>345434853
Coded Arms on the PSP. It's not great but is worth mentioning.

dot Hack, since you're playing as a person playing an MMO.
You might count Mr. Robot. It's a platformer until you hack an enemy, then you have RPG combat in cyberspace.

>System Shock 2
Can't you also be psychic in that game?
Memories of a broken dimension. I mean, it might be good if the dev ever finishes it.
I fucking miss dystopia, holy shit.
Also Ace Combat 3.

>System Shock 2
I think you mean the original System Shock.
Cyberspace only appeared briefly at the end of SS2 (combined with a recreation of Citadel Station's Medical level) and you couldn't even fly around in it.

How do the games differ, anon?
>>345437653
Other than graphically and control-wise, SS1 had a dynamic MIDI soundtrack, no skill upgrades, no vending machines, and the aforementioned cyberspace levels.
digimon: cyber sleuth
>>345437973
So it's not really an RPG, eh?
>>345438249
No, it was more of a nonlinear adventure-FPS hybrid with very versatile (but somewhat clunky) controls.
>>345438791
Aww. That kinda sucks.
Any y'all niggas remember Dystopia?
Good times.
>>345439230
Not really. I like it better than SS2. It was also incredibly ahead of its time compared to the likes of Doom II.

Literally figiratively Tron 2.0. It was a great game for its time, too.

I actually just beat it. That's why I made the thread: I want more.
>ctrl + f "Rez"
>"Hittades inte"
what the fuck.
play rez, op. it's short and it's beautiful and it's one of the smoothest and most mind-tingling games you can play.
also darwinia is good for more cyberspace, but just play rez.
>>345434853
System Shock 1
>>345434853ALL OF THEM
>>345435026
How fucking young do you even have to be to form that sentence?
>>345438079
I hear that's good, but cannot confirm.
>>345434853
The Talos Principle.
