I got to the battle of Hoover Dam. I was pushing myself from Primm onwards. I wish I'd given up then because this game has no appeal other than dank memes.

As much as I love this game, it suffers from being boring as fuck. The good parts are obviously in New Vegas and in towns like Nipton and Novac where the dialgue and interactions are always fun to listen to (and the DLCs obviously) but even then, the setting just puts me to sleep. Vegas wasn't as big as everyone hoped it to be and it wasn't as colorful or populated either. Same thing with Red Dead Redemption. Deserts are so fucking boring. I mean you can tell they tried to put shit in it but all you'll mostly see are scorpions, the occasional raiders and the Legion. After that, it's just empty building, after empty building. Oh look I found a skill book and a star bottle cap! Who fucking cares. Just place some more robots and cazadores I can shoot.
And no mutated horses you can ride on? Come on man, that would've been a perfect trade off to having an enormous wide open space like the Mojave to ride around.
