If this thread wasn't going to be dead by the time I got it installed I'd pop into CoD 4, update the Master Server, and post a screenshot of how many players are online. Unfortunately I'm too lazy so I'll just tell you that 500 players are online according to Steam (which since this game sold a lot of copies outside of Steam isn't the full number). For a game that relies on dedicated servers those are good enough of numbers.
