I fucking hate grab characters. The only one that isn't a fucking blight onto your team 99% of the time is Roadhog. Every other grab character just attracts this shitter mentality of "DUDE GOTTA GET THOSE SICK HOOKS BRO BECAUSE THAT'S ALL MY CHARACTER IS FUCKING GOOD FOR".
Its an easy mechanic to build a concept around. Big guy brings enemy close for his team to gangbang. Its iconic, easy to highlight, fun, and isn't too overpowered in most cases because its only one person, who could potentially wreck everybody if its the wrong target.
