If I made a video game with a moral system where your alignment was based on the consequence of your action rather than your intent, would that make people really angry?

Mass Effect made people angry already.
FIRMLY
>>345338571
Well if you're choices have drastically different results than what would be expected, that would be frustrating
depends on the action and context, don't go all Infamous on us and say: "killing people is wrong" so killing the bad guy makes your karma go down.
he's the bad guy, not some fucking patron saint
Yes. Look at Dishonored.
Moral Systems are fucking stupid, almost anti ethical.
Judging actions on a spectrum is childish and biased. There are just actions and consequences.
Video games

Everyone I've met who says that tends to still get pissy when someone steals their stuff desu
>>345339491
>Telling people you can judge ethics is just plain unethical
Kek

Yeah, because that's not your alignment
Play New Vegas senpai
If thinking the game is shit for including alignment at all counts as angry then yes.
The best systems don't rate your morality but have people react only if they would have good reason to have heard about or witnessed the action and your character.
Which is ironic because the only games I've played like that have still been shite.
