Guys, I have this idea for a hero.
For more diversity, he'll be from Tunisia.
He's a tank but one of the most mobile tanks in the game that has 550 HP which are 50% shield and 30% armor.
His ult is similar to Reinhardt's charge but with more mobility, though slower and topples everyone to the ground.
The design I have in mind is that he has a huge truck's bumper attached to his chest.
It's a Nice idea, imo.

The main balance come from the 6 player limit. As in, there will be so many heroes you WANT on your team, that you had to pick which not to use. Currently the hero pool is too small, and that is why 1-hero-limit was needed because you were happy to double up on heroes. If we ever get two dozen heroes, we would likely not need the hero limit anymore.

If you compare LoL and Dota 2's hero usage, Dota 2's is significantly better than LoL's.
All of Dota 2's heroes have been used at least a couple of times in major tournaments in the last year.
LoL's tournament usage is literally less than 50% of the roster.
This goes to show that Valve gives a fuck ton more about balance than Riot.
In saying that, Blizzard has always treated competitive balance seriously, with easy example in Starcraft 2.
I don't expect Blizzard to be idiots and throw everything away like that before releasing Overwatch 2.

It is financially advantageous. Remember that loot boxes have their contents determined when you obtain them, not when you open them. So when you get a new hero, you would need to either pay in-game gold, play more, or buy loot boxes. unopened loot boxes would not contain any new item that was added later on.
