You can't really claim sour grapes when you're discussing a hypothetical imaginary game. It hasn't actually been confirmed not on PC because it doesn't even exist yet.
The thing is that due to Capcom's terrible system they can't identify people using mods on PC, only people on PS4 could potentially be identified. They would have to guess which people are cheating on PC since all the game do is send a notification to the server with "I did the thing", it doesn't send neither scores nor times.

No, what I mean is a crossplay platform costs a lot of money to be made, they won't just drop it, especially when updating the PC version is easier than never thanks to UE4. I don't think Capcom will ban cheaters, think about it, considering the amount of people who cheated, the active SFV player base is already pretty small, if they ban more people they're effectively killing their game on the long run. Also they can't even ban rage quitters properly.
