People aren't leaving games because Hanzo is useless. They are leaving because the perception of Hanzo players is that they are unskilled players that spam arrows in the general direction of where the enemy comes from, hoping to hit anything. There are some people that do extremely well as snipers, but for the most part, when I see someone pick Hanzo or Widowmaker, I think "Oh great, here's the special flower that thinks they have pro skills as a sniper, and thinks the rest of the team will be wowed".

It does show the flaws in the ranking system tho. There are definitely good players out there. It's just that all the French kiddos and Slav scum have all been getting too high placements due to pure luck in draws.
Hero with the highest skill ceiling ? I know Junkrat is easy mode but being able to direct hit Pharah and fast moving targets while mine jumping is the hardest thing in the game right ? Same thing with rockets but less challenging.
I think the changes to projectile boxes in PTR were only done to prove a point: It's just not Hanzo that benefits from lenient projectile hitboxes, and changing them would hurt all projectile users.
