Fallout 4 has tons of poor design choices, but it's still fun.

i feel like Fallout 4 feels a lot like skyrim.
skyrim had shitty boring quests, where you just go into a dungeon and clear it and all that stuff to finish the quest.
while in Fallout 3 and NV the quests were much more memorable and unique.
but just like Skyrim there are a lot of other things to do in fallout 4 to keep you entertained.

I have about 80 hours on it but haven't beaten it yet. I still haven't even explored the entire map or every dungeon interior, but whenever I turn the game on, I get bored after like 30 minutes.
It is a cool game, though, and I was born in Boston so it's nice to see their imagining of familiar places/landmarks. I wish the map stretched further south to Randolph, though :(

I swear, in 3 and NV I'd have a good time walk from one end of the map to the other, but in Fallout 4 I feel hyper aware of how much distance I've traveled, the land marks I'll come across, and it feels like transversal takes less time.

It's not as bad as /v/ makes it out to be, but it could have been so much better.
Mods help to fill the void, it doesn't have an interesting story and quests like the previous games but it's pretty fun to loot shit and kill fiends while building a sick fortress.
I hope we get a spin-off like New Vegas, I want more Fallout.
