Anybody else watch the trailer for the new movie thing coming out in Kingdom Hearts 2.8? It's suppose to be a prequel showing the old keyblade masters and students, also I believe in takes place in Radiant Garden or a place that looks similar to Radiant Garden, but it takes place like 500 years or some shit in the past before Terra, Xehanort, Erquis, and all those people. The masters were wearing like masks that resembled animals, and they had robes and shit.
I couldn't follow any of it, looked like a completely different story and game. I know they talk about the "unavoidable war" probably the keyblade war and how it started, also more origin on what happened at the site of the keyblade graveyard. I'm not sure how it will all tie into Sora, Riku, Kairi and the prophecy of seven hearts of light and thirteen hearts of darkness or whatever, shit is getting more convoluted than it already was.
Also we see what appears to be an organization XII member, at least they are wearing the black coat but we have no idea who it is.

How long ago was the Keyblade War in KH1? Both Master Xehanort and Kairi's grandma know about the legend and they're about the same age. I was very confused but also hyped. I love BBS's final fight in general. Aqua, Ventus and Tera all meet at the Keyblade Graveyard with doubts in their hearts, unresolved issues between themselves and not enough confidence to beat Xehanort. It feels very hopeless, but the fights are so great you get a very mixed feeling of hype with sadness.
I really like BBS's story not by itself, but rather because i like the idea of seeing what happened to the heroes that came before Sora but failed in completing their mission.
Is anyone else here kinda put of between the extreme power spike between KH1 and KH2?
In the first game Sora was that clunky kid, who COULD fight, but had this goofy vibe in his fighting style. I mean he had really powerful flashy attacks like ragnarök or the trio attack (forgot its name) but if you compare it to the Drive-forms of the second game, its like he is a different guy.
I felt especially the ultima form and the full ending sequence on the world that never was took the cake. I never played Chain of Memories, is there an explanation for that?
