Yeah, but Scorpio probably won't do very well(seriously what are they thinking?), NX can't generate any hype until Nintendo lets loose and unveils all of the games(and even then it's a stretch), and neo has a pretty bleak outlook among most owners of the current PS4.

NX is still a mystery, no one knows what it is. It might have the same power as the wiiU but be a portable device. It might be something else altogether, no one knows.
Both Neo and Scorpio are Xbone 1.5 and PS4 1.5. They play all the same games and won't kickstart a new generation. It's just new hardware to push 4K media (main reason) as well as keep up with the demand for better hardware/performance from the core gamers (smaller reason)
PS4neo is keeping it straight. Sony admited it'll be the only mid-gen upgrade and will work just the same, absolutely no differences in save files, store, online, etc. PS4 and PS4neo are 100% the same platform, except one might play some games at better framerates and resolutions, depending of what each dev does with it.
MS are being more secretive about Scorpio, but right now it's all hype PR. Until we see something different, all we can assume is that it'll be an Xbone 1.5, just like PS4Neo. It'll run the same games, load up the same savefiles, share the same online servers, etc. The only difference from it and the PS4Neo is that Microsoft are saying they won't folllow generations anymore and instead keep releasing Scorpio-like models throughout the years, just upgrading the power each time but making every game backwards and forwards compatible - with presumably a cut-off on the original Xbone once it can't keep up.
But none of that has been put into action. In reality Scorpio will be the equivalent of PS4neo in its functionality. Just prolonging this generation, not ending it. 5 years after 2017 is when we will see a difference - between Sony making PS5 and starting next gen and then MS sticking to their word and not following gens, or following the same steps.
