I came in this thread because i knew it'd be one of the first images.
I did it easy on xbox, maybe because I was super fucking hyped about the game and studied all the new menus or just knew by proxy about the item rotation gimmick
but when I started it again last year on pc, I totally forgot about that gimmick and was studying the fucking walls for answers. So fucking dumb.

Yeah, it's really dumb since the game never explicitly tells you about item rotation or that the solution is on the claw. They probably thought they were giving the player a hard puzzle but not giving information isn't the same as making a puzzle difficult

IIRC it's in loading screens, but that's a very small chance of it popping up and even then, not everybody will be reading them since it will usually be random lore.
It might say it in menus, but I can't say that for sure.

The most bullshit Monkey Island puzzles were in the second one, the number of fingers puzzle was so damn tricky, and then there was the 'monkey wrench' nonsense
It's actually super easy, but it makes no sense unless someone explains it to you.

To make it clear, he shows you two sets of fingers and the number of fingers he holds up the first time is the correct answer.
So there is not really any formula or anything, and it doesn't matter what he says the first fingers correspond to, you just have to look at how many fingers he is holding up and that will be the answer to the next set of fingers.

The quantum room one was worse
The shadow artifact puzzle from Medieval. A simple, "there's 4 symbols, push them in order" puzzle - except there's no clues anywhere in the game to help you out. 256 combinations, and you have to work through them all, one at a time.
To this day, no one has figured out how you're supposed to know the answer aside from guessing.

When I was doing the dice puzzle it was the first freeze I've gotten in the game (before I got the PEC one) and thought it was just a crazy accident. Once I got the second I knew something was up and confirmed online that the minigame is bugged.

I actually solved all of these doors by studying the walls. I didn't even know I could look on the claw.
Can someone explain the bioshock card and bells? All you have to do is ring it in accordance to the card right? Did people have trouble with that or something?

Solution in this video seems to be so simple you won't be even able to understand where the puzzle is and why this fight is so fucking retarded. I spent days fighting this ugly red ghost. And I didn't even beat him. Since this game was so full of bugs I eventually fell through textures and it skipped me to the next stage.

Yeah, it's one of those puzzles that's just a little too complicated to visualize a long sequence of moves, so I think most people just kinda run around until a solution within a handful of moves becomes apparent.
