I can kind of understand though why you'd stick with Xbone, you already own content on Xbox and your achievements are there. I had both consoles last gen so I picked up the PS4 near launch and didn't have to feel like I was throwing away all my progress. Ended up getting the Xbone a year later and while it's not a bad machine, I'm glad I picked the PS4 over it initially.
The xbone was better to start off with, but I sold mine for a PS4. I've only got 4 games for it, but as soon as Grab Turismo comes out I'll be happy.

Microsoft forgot that they make most of their money from Windows, not Xbox. I'm not sure how they forgot they were a software company, but they did. They abandoned PC gaming, and then Valve starts shilling Linux gaming. Linux isn't a threat to Windows as a gaming platform, no. But it is a threat in the business, technology and education sectors. If more people switch to Linux to game, that means they get used to it. Which means, in the future, there might come a time when people are equally comfortable on both operating systems. And that's what Microsoft was worried about, and why they're shilling Windows 10 so hard. PS4 beating Xbone is inconsequential, the main thing they were worried about was people losing interest in Windows, which is why they've started going all in and merging the Xbox brand with Windows 10.
And yeah, this doesn't matter to you or any Xbone owners, I'm just explaining why Microsoft has done a 180.

That's what made Sony's conference so good in 2014, because they shut the hell up and just showed a huge lineup of games. It was like a barrage of 5 games, then someone would come out and say a couple sentences, then 5 more would roll out. It was the best E3 conference I had ever seen.
