On a serious answer. Yes, Niantic made the game using Unity Engine and the Google Maps API as backend so it should not be a problem at all to put this in WP.
BUT, as the 3rd platform, and small userbase, we dont get any priority at all, and that's understandable. If you have 95% of the market dominated by just 2 platforms, its pretty common to ignore the rest. Look what happens with Linux in Gaming. Not even Valve with a huge investment could pull that off, and Linux is and will continue to be shit and unusable for anything except showcasing your craving for attention online.
So, unless Microsoft aproaches with a bag of money, OR the userbase files a change.org request or something, they wont even remember WP exists.
