Doesn't matter. He'll be the most used character online by a long shot and the idea of having to deal with a fully invincible DP in a 3D fighter is fucking stupid. He's probably the worst guest character in a fighting game.

Never watched Tekken before, seems like a lot of fun.
Quick question though; if they haven't released Tekken 7 stateside, and haven't released it on consoles in Japan for easy import, why are they playing it at an American tournament? I could understand if Americans could import it like GG Revelator, but it seems like the only way people could play Tekken 7 stateside would be at E3 or in Japan, and apparently they released an update for the game like ten days ago?

Only in Japan and Korea. The arcade cabinets use an online connection to those local servers so it doesn't really work anywhere else

Except I said Markman and Rip are good. I like Tekken commentators because they are knowledgeable and aren't meme lords like SF commentators. That being said, Aris is entertaining and knows how to be excited about it.
Who gives a fuck about commentary? That has nothing to do with the game itself.
Also I want an arcade stick for other fighting games. It's hard to give a fuck about Tekken unless you've been playing it for years.

Almost all the female characters in Tekken are among the least used if you look at character usage charts. They are rarely strong

The characters that matter, usually are strong. The main difference being the guys usually hit harder and of course, have much better range. Nina has consistently been top tier since the old days, with the exception of 5.1.

Yes, though recently the only non-strong female characters recently have been Xiaoyu, Zafina in 6 and Christie by virtue of Eddy existing and strangely enough it does effect her greatly. Overall you cannot go wrong with picking any female character in Tekken, none are massively weak.
