i havent bought a phone since the fucking 5510, that thing was the tits. since then i've used only phones that other people in my family discard. im currently using a cheap ass wiko thingy with a barely functioning screen that takes me 1 minute to write a message saying "ok". I was thinking of finnaly buying a new phone this year, sub 150€
I'm thinking either the cheaper version of the 3rd gen MOto G or some wiley fox thing i saw on amazon that looks decent for the price.

The battery lasts multiple days even when using it constantly (plus very easy to snap in a spare).
Tactile buttons are vastly superior to touch.

I used to think like this too and refused to upgrade for years thinking they were unnecessary. Having access to the internet at all times is crazy useful man. You will save far more money buying a cheap ass smartphone so you can price check the things you're buying than you ever would by keeping a flip phone.

everything i do on my current smartphone i have been able to do on every phone for over a decade. send messages, keep contacts, make phone calls and listen to music. not even sure why i have one. hey it was dirt cheap
