The two expansions are 'challenging', that is to say they are full of trash mobs that hit agi 100 luck 100 characters on every attack and deal massive damage through the heaviest armor that exists. The first goblin you run into under Mournhold is going to break all your chitin armor in two hits. If you want to put style over stats, you'll have to resort to alchemy.

i've been trying to give skyrim another try but its so brutal. with some graphics mods it looks nice, but the gameplay is so dumbed down. nearly everything is go here into this dungeon, fall its narrow straight line path until you complete it, where we'll open a door for you right near the entrance. the dungeons are literally designed to be cleared with a fast exit. i've been trying to hold off on mw again until open mw is playable but they're probably 2 years away still at this rate.
