In case you missed it, another redditor pried open the PTR update and found some new audio. In that collection were some lines that may be interpreted as setting up for a stealth hero, perhaps even an invisible one (McCree: "Now I can't see you, but I know you're there.").
Blizzard, please don't make a character that can't be easily seen. The two design decisions that Overwatch made that I'm happiest about were not needing to break combat to find a place to replenish ammo and not having a clone of the TF2 spy. The possibility that there might be an invisible character with a one hit kill capability changes how you play TF2, and not in a good way; you spend a lot of time shooting at allies to make sure they're really allies, and keeping your back up against walls so that you can't be backstabbed. It's also, at least for me, magnitudes more frustrating to die to an invisible spy than to any other opponent. It doesn't feel like you got beat by an opponent's skill, it feels like you got beat by an unbalanced gimmick.
I really hope that this is just chasing at shadows (pun intended), and that I'm off the mark interpreting these voice lines, because an invisible character would be miserable to play against.

His primary weapon is a knife, doing a disgustingly shitty amount of damage from the front, but instantly killing anyone from behind.
His secondary is a revolver with high damage dropoff, going from 60 damage to 20 minimum. The lowest health amount in the game with no weapon changes is 125.
His third weapon is specifically meant to destroy an engineer's health and ammo dispenser and automated sentry gun.
Any class in the game can be his counter, and can kill him in two hits.

It is literally impossible to freeze more than one character at a time without her ult because the time it takes to freeze them is longer than the duration of the freeze itself. Barriers are ridiculously dependent on the player using them to the extent that even a mediocre, let alone outright bad, Mei fucks her team up more than she fucks up the other team. Cryofreeze makes her incapable of doing anything else for 4 seconds, which is basically a death wish in this game, and only heals 60% of her health. Alt fire really doesn't do that much damage compared to everyone else, only benefit is it uses the massive projectile hitboxes but those are getting nerfed soon apparently.
They should get rid of the freeze on her primary fire (keep the gradual slow though) and expand it to be a cone instead of a line.

Sure, but the problem with her abilities is they're so "all or nothing" that a buff can very easily make her OP. There's almost no middle ground. Therefore, instead of buffing and debuffing her abilities, they should be reworked so they're easier to use but have a smaller individual impact.
Make primary fire a cone so she can hit multiple characters on the point but get rid of the freeze. Make her secondary fire 5 fragments of 15 damage each with a minor spread so she's just as effective in close but can't out-snipe people at mid to long range. Make her walls more fragile and see-through but lower the cooldown. Make the duration of the cryo-freeze shorter so that she can actually get back to doing shit quicker but it doesn't protect her for as long.
That's just shit off the top of the head and probably none of them would work out well, point being they need to give her an actual middle ground to work with.
