All MMOs revolve around grinding.
FFXIV requires you to poopsock to get the latest relic weapon before it gets outdated.
PSO still makes you grind nonstop due to how section IDs work
Even WoW still makes you grind daily if you want to pay for sub with tokens

I'm with you OP. Skyforge is fun as fuck but the grind to unlock all the classes is pure shit and made me quit.

Skyforge looks cool but the abilities didn't feel impactful and the mobs were too easy
Playing a ranged class is boring if enemies can't punish you hard when they get within close range and I'm just nuking everything as cryomancer
Plus this whole ascension atlas nonsense turned me off from this game so hard
